Free Little At Gallery (aka F.L.A.G.) made its debut at the 2022 Marigold Festival.

FLAG
Look behind Winterville City Hall and find the Free Little Art Gallery (or FLAG). The FLAG follows the same principle as free little libraries (where people take a book and leave a book). Feel free to take a little piece of art and consider donating one to the FLAG. Thanks go out to Ellen Derwin for introducing the FLAG to the Winterville Arts Council and purchasing the interior FLAG decorations and to Dave Watwood for building the FLAG. Follow the Winterville FLAG on Instagram (@freeandweewinterville). Enjoy!!!

Vino and Van Gogh
The Winterville Arts Council hosted its first “Vino and Van Gogh” paint evening this past fall. Because of its huge success, WAC plans to offer another paint and sip evening again in
February. WAC member Judy Hammond will be the artist instructor for our February event.
Registration for this event will open early January.

Participants enjoy a glass of wine while painting under the guidance of WAC member and local artist, Dortha Jacobson.

Winterville Library Art Exhibits
The Winterville Library and the Winterville Arts Council have joined together to host an ongoing exhibit featuring local artists within 50 miles of the Winterville area. Art will be on display in the library on a rotation basis for a 6-8 week period. If you are a local artist who would like to have your art considered for display in the library, please send 3-10 photos of your work to us at
WACLibraryArt@gmail.com. Artists, Vicky Tavernier and Jenifer Borg, are exhibiting their collage art entitled, “Words About Birds, Insights About Insects” now through late January 2023.
